A must have book for any country music lover!
By Jo Anne Johnson
This book should be required reading for any country music lover, and especially for any Vern Gosdin or George Jones fan. I felt like I was on the bus with the gang traveling from town to town! The chapters that included Hank Williams Jr., Lorrie Morgan, Jim Varner and Bufford Pusser were just icing on the cake. I can't wait to read more by Dr. Gerald Murray with the information he said he would have to cover in his next book! Don't miss getting a copy. I promise you will not want to put down "True Life Stories About "The Voice" until you finish the book....The book is well written and I appreciated the large print.

This was an interesting book about one of the "true greats" of country music. The short stories about Vern and his friends (the writer included) are vintage. Dr. Murray does a fantastic job with this project. I would recommend this to any country music fan.
